 any commercial divers over 50?

I'm 52, building and fixing on land and want to get into commercial diving, but most of what I read gives the mid 20's to mid 30's as the main age group for offshore, inland diving pushes the upper limit to mid 40's due to shorter and less deep dives without saturation diving in play.

This article was fairly d**ning on my ambition...

So... how many old guys are still kicking out there? For real, not just topside.

And, for someone 52 that is a certified diver and in good shape with building skills (welding and construction), what companies would be interested in hiring?
